Email quit@taperoff.io. It helps to say which phone you use and the app version, which is at the bottom of the You tab. You never need to send us what you've logged: we don't need it to help, and it's yours.

Questions

Do I need an account?

No. There's nothing to sign up for. Your plan and your log live on your phone, and the app works in full offline.

Can I use TaperØff on more than one phone?

Not yet. Sync between your devices, end-to-end encrypted, arrives in an update. Until then, everything stays safe on the phone you set it up on. Your Apple Watch or Wear OS watch works alongside that phone already.

What happens if I go over my allowance?

Nothing dramatic. Log it like any other window. If a couple of days run heavier, TaperØff offers to ease the curve: it picks up from where you actually are, and your quit day stays put. You choose whether to take it.

How do I change my plan?

Open the You tab and tap Adjust plan. You can change your starting amount, how long the taper runs, your waking hours and what vaping costs you. The Journey tab shows the new curve.

I bought Plus. How do I get it on a new phone?

Sign in to the same App Store or Google Play account, then open You → TaperØff Plus → Restore purchases. The free plan is the complete quit journey and stays that way with or without Plus.

How do I cancel a monthly Plus subscription?

Through your app store: You → TaperØff Plus → Manage subscription opens it for you. You keep Plus until the end of the period you've paid for.

How do I get a copy of my data?

You → Privacy → Export my data saves everything on your phone as a readable file that you keep.

How do I delete my data?

Everything is on your phone, so you can erase it yourself in a few taps. Deleting your data walks through it.

Is TaperØff medical advice?

No. It's a tool that helps you follow a plan. For personal advice, your GP, a pharmacist or your local NHS Stop Smoking Service can help, for free. If you vape to stay off cigarettes, the NHS advises only stopping vaping once you're confident you won't smoke.

If it's more than a craving

If you're struggling, you don't have to wait for us. In the UK, Samaritans are there on 116 123, free, any time.
